2nd Mini-Symposium on Computations, Brains and Machines

Back to Event List

Date: 2015/07/14(Tue) 13:30 -16:20
Venue: 1F Seminar Room, BSI Central Building

The series of this mini-symposium is intended to discuss better computations and greater mathematical principles in a wider perspective, not only in theoretical neuroscience but also in machine learning and statistical-information sciences. Brain does amazing computations, processing big and complex information superbly, while neuroscience itself nowadays often needs to analyze big data. In this symposium, three eminent speakers will introduce us to cutting-edge works to face such challenges in other disciplines.

Dr. Takayuki Okatani (Tohoku University)
Dr. Ken-ichi Kawarabayashi (National Institute of Informatics)
Dr. Takemasa Miyoshi (RIKEN)
